Colourful caps, hats and bonnets could be seen across St Michael's on Monday as the whole school came together to raise money for Nourish Community Foodbank.

Having already begun fundraising for the important cause as part of this year's production of Oliver!, we were pleased to continue our support of the charity with a 'Hat-tastic' Charity Day challenging pupils and staff to wear an 'outrageous' hat or Easter-inspired headwear.

In Pre-Prep, the children showcased hours of creativity in their Easter hat parade where eggs, chicks and bunnies were amongst the vibrant decorations on display. Meanwhile, in Prep sombreros, western hats and animal-inspired heads brought humour to our day.

Thank you so much for your generous donations to our Oliver! and Charity Day collections which raised a total of £1,224.49 for Nourish Community Foodbank.

Nourish supports people in need by delivering emergency food and supplies across the Tunbridge Wells borough, south Tonbridge and surrounding areas.

Working as a lifeline for people who are experiencing tough times, the vast majority of people who receive an emergency supply of food from Nourish are working people who are experiencing a temporary financial hardship due to a change in circumstances, such as domestic violence, sickness or an unexpected bill.
