We were delighted to welcome back the Chairman of the Sevenoaks District Council to St Michael’s during April.
Spending the morning with Pre-Prep children during her visit, Councillor Lynda Harrison enjoyed reading a story to Kindergarten followed by answering questions about her role on the Council and allowing the children to try on her chains of office. Lynda then visited Forest School for an action-packed experience in our woodlands with Reception, learning about the important safety rules of the sessions and helping the children with leaf printing.
The Chairman, who has visited St Michael’s on many occasions previously for key school events, was pleased to be part of the learning experience at St Michael’s and meet more members of our community.
Commenting on her visit, the Chairman said: “Thank you so much for a lovely morning. I enjoyed reading to the children and the Forest School - you have an amazing school with great facilities and opportunities for the children. I am always amazed with the staff and children of the school and have always enjoyed my visits as Chairman this year. Thank you, you have always made me feel so welcome.”
