Year 1 were treated to an excellent Puppet Workshop on Wednesday with West End performer and puppeteer Mark Goldthorp. He introduced the children to the three main rules of puppetry; puppet focus, lip synchronisation and puppet walking. The children were engaged from start to finish and loved having the opportunity to handle a wide range of puppets, experimenting with changing voices and becoming different characters. They left feeling very inspired, full of ideas of how they may decorate their own puppets this term.
