We have ended the week with our Harvest Festival celebrations and we were delighted to receive so many food and toiletry donations for Swanley and District Foodbank. Thank you so much for your generosity towards this collection which will be gratefully received by many local families this winter.
Swanley and District Foodbank said: "Please pass on our thanks for the very generous donations from the families of St Michael's. Our donations have been very low in the past year, so your donations will certainly enable us to feed many people in the next few months.
"We are extremely grateful for the continued support that your school shows to us, the total donation weight today was a whopping 622.2kg!"

We also enjoyed Harvest assemblies across both Pre-Prep and Prep this morning including Pre-Prep performing joyful songs as well as a poem by Year 1 and a performance of Seeds of Friendship by Year 2 and Down, Down to the Allotment by Reception, to celebrate this important time of year and give thanks as a community.
