Pre-Prep French

Our Pre-Prep pupils begin learning French in Year 1. We believe this is an ideal age as children are very receptive and less inhibited during this time.

In Pre-Prep, the emphasis of French lessons is on aural/oral teaching and we aim to make the language lively, varied and enjoyable; each lesson combines fun with games, songs and activities.

Our annual French Day introduces the children to French music, dress, food among many other features of the vibrant culture. We look forward to this event every year which is experienced by children in Nursery to Year 8.
